About the Role
Supervise efficient working of departments and assigned shifts, administer meetings and rectify all service of staff.
Administer training program and handle inventory effectively.
Monitor and manage guest complaints, ensure satisfaction and administer efficient follow up for the same to receive feedback.
Perform regular inspection of food and beverage preparation and presentation and maintain inventory to enhance sales.
Maintain and ensure compliance to established food quality and standards.
Manage workload and ensure effective working of restaurant activities and maintain excellent standards to meet operational expectations.
Train and instruct employees to ensure a smooth transition in the company.
Assist and provide training to staff members and offer incentives when necessary.
Coordinate with the General Manager for everyday operation and maintain financial and administrative records.
Ensure compliance with prescribed standards and local state and federal laws in labor costs, and guest relations.
Evaluate performance and provide feedback to staff member
Maintain personal records, schedules and reports for all employees.
Develop special, promotional and merchandising plans, advertising materials and ensure adherence to local and company standards.
Assist employee teams to provide excellent customer service.
Maintain proper sanitation, hygiene standards in the kitchen and maintain effective store presentation.
Coordinate with the team to meet sales targets, ensure customer satisfaction and follow company procedures to increase productivity.
Candidate must have at least 2 years serving experience (Fine Dining/ Omakase is a plus)must be able to work fast, multitask and handle high volume flow during lunch and dinner rushes. We are looking for individual who are humble, respectful, postive, self-driven.
must be able to communicate and work well with team members (including kitchen and sushi bar's chef staffs)
*must be able to work at least all days of half day shifts for part timers
*must be able to work weekends holidays

*must be able to be attentive and deliver exceptional customer service
*must be able to walk, sit and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.

O Fine Japanese Cuisine was established in 2009 in Laguna Beach, California, with the tremendous support from locals and visitors from all over the world. We opened our 2nd location in 2011 in Irvine, California.
